This is a balanced wine with bright flavors of berry, cherry and spice.
Though full-bodied, this Zin displays some restraint and complexity, and less jamminess. Its soft tannins and firm acidity play against intense fruit to make it a pleasure to
drink now, and over the next several years.

This is a small hillside vineyard near the Napa County line.
Warm daytime temperatures moderated by cool marine air in
the evenings contribute to complex grape flavors with good
acidity. The clone is from the Summit Lake vineyards on

The vineyard was picked in two lots, about two weeks apart, to ensure
consistent ripeness and balance.
